Week One Done
So I have no idea where this post will post but am going to share a few thoughts before my 11 review (7 min) w/ one of my rock stars.

Week one was tough.  Specifically the first 5 days.  One reason was that I was in TX and trying to make this menu work on the road is not easy.  Thank god texas has whole foods and jamba juices.  That made it more doable.  And I learned that you can go to very nice restaurants on the cheap if all you do is order an entrĂ©e and glass of seltzer w lime.  But making it work at Denny's gets a little more tough.  But a much lighter dieter, no coffee, no beer all made for a foggy couple of days.

This weekend posed different challenges - a big, out till 2:30 in the a.m. going away party and dinner out w/ friends.  I was rock solid at the party (because there was no 'I'll just have a drink' option).  The dinner out was a little tricker and SW was definitely disappointed when I celebrated my rock solid completion of week one - that's no joke - w/ a glass of wine.

But I'm back on the wagon this week and doing just groovey.  Last night we transitioned from the elimination week to the soup for dinner phase.  And, surprisingly, I'm doing just fine.  I did have a handful of nuts a few moments ago but Sabrina's chicken, kale, brown rice noodle dish is awaiting me in the work fridge and should get me through.

Should be interesting to see if soup cuts it tonight after a bike ride I have planned.

I've also lost 6 pounds since starting and am grateful for it.

Ok, I think Matt is waiting outside my door trying not to distract me as I type some important memo.  Here he is.

Good luck!!!
